We have moved!

Welcome to our site. As you may know, we have morphed our dealership for Ranger Tugs into The Pocket Yacht Company (www.pocket-yacht.com) which is now the Chesapeake and Mid-Atlantic Ranger Tug dealer, succeeding Chesapeake Ranger Tugs.

The Pocket Yacht Company is just across the Chesapeake Bay from our former offices in Annapolis. There are usually at least one of every model of Ranger and Cutwater there for you to see and maybe even take a brief trial spin. Call to set this up!s

This site will stay up for a while, but without any updates or maintenance, so for the latest and greatest on Ranger Tugs, as well as their sister line, Cutwater, visit the Pocket Yacht site.

All the same great boats, more of them, and a larger staff to meet your needs.

Hope you cruising, at our yard, at boat shows, or who knows. Thank you for all your interest in Ranger Tugs. It has been, and continues to be, a major focus of mine.

Best Regards,

Trailerable, Seaworthy, Fuel-Efficient and Ready for Adventure!

Ranger Tugs are ideal Chesapeake Bay boats thanks to their shallow draft that allows for endless gunkholing, their cozy interior accommodations, and their quality engineering and technology that makes them easy for anyone to handle.

Ranger Tugs also are fully capable of extended cruising – many having done the Great Loop and the Inside Passage to Alaska.

These trailerable trawlers are comfortable cruising boats powered by safe and dependable inboard diesel engines and equipped with all the essentials for brief overnights or longer — compact galley, fridge, full head, and accommodations for two to five people depending on the model.

Ranger Tugs are built in Kent, Washington; the company was founded in 1958 based on a philosophy of quality and "doing things right." The company continuously incorporates the ideas and experiences of customers into the structure, design, and quality of Ranger Tugs.
